Quality tests at RVR STAINLESS:
FLARING TEST
The flaring test is conducted to assess the forming characteristics of tubes or pipes when expanded to a defined extent. This test is performed in accordance with relevant code standards. During the process, the test specimen is expanded using a press to the specified degree. Any defects arising from this expansion are considered unacceptable.
HARDNESS TEST
Samples from each lot are tested to ensure that the hardness of the tube is within permissible limits.
THE TENSILE TEST
The tensile test specimen is used to evaluate the material's strength and ductility properties, including yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation. These tests are typically performed at room temperature in accordance with standards such as DIN, ASTM, BS, and others.
EDDY CURRENT TEST
This test used to detect hidden flaws, inhomogeneities, cracks, etc. using the test procedure described in ASTM E-426.
HYDROSTATIC TEST
At RVR BANSAL STAINLESS, all tubes and pipes undergo mandatory 100% hydrostatic testing. This testing can be performed at pressures of up to 450 kg/cm², using high-pressure triple plunger pumps to achieve the required test pressure.
